What is achachairu?

Achachairú (Garcinia humilis) is a fruit native to Bolivia, especially cultivated in the Santa Cruz region, where it is harvested from wild trees and domestic plantations. The name achachairú means "little honey kiss" in Guaraní. The fruit is prized for its sweet and sour flavor and its beneficial properties.
